Chapters 17 and 18.
Do you remember taking a ride with your girlfriend in your first car? I remember it just like it was yesterday. How excited I was to be able to finally take her to the movies, park, or just sit and talk while parked at her parents house. I thought about this after reading chapter 17. Anne and Henry out riding together, without a care in the world, on their way to the picnic at Windsor manor. One thing is for sure though, life is definitely good for a King. The preparation that it took for things like, going on a picnic. The dance that Anne, Nan, and Mary put on was the climax for me, in this chapter. Henry professes how much he loved Anne after this; I very seriously doubt he was this romantic, but it does make for good fiction.
18. Anne is whining because Henry has to put on a charade with Katherine. She must have been terrified that Henry might fall back in love with Katherine, whenever they had to be together. Nan discovers the book by William Tyndale to be in Anne's possession. Although she is already familiar with the book and its implications, she does not know how a great a role Anne will play in bringing it to light. Anne knew that this meeting had to happen. With Nan now in possession of the book, the stage is now set for the next act.
