C hp. 15 . Anne is on her way back to court, having been away for sometime now. There has been little to no progress concerning the annulment to Katherine. Anne's father asked Anne to asked Wolsey for, on behalf of her cousin, Sir Thomas Cheney.Anne and Katherine have a sparring of words towards the end of the chapter.Katherine basically calls Anne's out for her relationship with the King.
Chp 16.The Anne versus Wolsey chess game is underway. Anne received a letter from Wolsey that  was meant to pacify her. We see that the Cardinal, up until now, had been the go to men for Henry. The danger that Anne poses could tip the balance of influence against the Cardinal. While having dinner, Anne asked Master Thomas Henage to request two things of  Wolsey: That she might have some carp from Wolsey's pond and to deal with the issue of her cousin Sir Thomas Cheney.
Chp. 17 Wolsey agreed to Anne request concerning Thomas Cheney. He also so had been lavishing her with gifts and letters on a regular basis. Just to save face of course. A big picnic is planned at Windsor Manor for some of the newly elevated people at court. While riding Anne notices Henry having some pain, due to ulcers. During the picnic, Anne and her ladies start to dance provocatively for the men. Henry is mesmerized and tells her how much he loves her.
