C hp. 15 . Anne is on her way back to court, having been away for sometime now. There has been little to no progress concerning the annulment to Katherine. Anne's father asked Anne to asked Wolsey for, on behalf of her cousin, Sir Thomas Cheney.Anne and Katherine have a sparring of words towards the end of the chapter.Katherine basically calls Anne's out for her relationship with the King.
Chp 16.The Anne versus Wolsey chess game is underway. Anne received a letter from Wolsey that was meant to pacify her. We see that the Cardinal, up until now, had been the go to men for Henry. The danger that Anne poses could tip the balance of influence against the Cardinal. While having dinner, Anne asked Master Thomas Henage to request two things of Wolsey: That she might have some carp from Wolsey's pond and to deal with the issue of her cousin Sir Thomas Cheney.
Chp. 17 Wolsey agreed to Anne request concerning Thomas Cheney. He also so had been lavishing her with gifts and letters on a regular basis. Just to save face of course. A big picnic is planned at Windsor Manor for some of the newly elevated people at court. While riding Anne notices Henry having some pain, due to ulcers. During the picnic, Anne and her ladies start to dance provocatively for the men. Henry is mesmerized and tells her how much he loves her.

Chp.9 The plot thickens against Cardinal Wolsey as she and new found allies, the duke of Suffolk and Norfolk pay her a visit. Modern day Anne by now is head over heels for Henry, nearly giving in to him sexually. While on their way to Richland Palace Anne is grossed out by the sight of the rotting remain of two traitors heads stuck on poles.
Chp. 10 Enter Cardinal Wolsey. The exchange between the Anne and Wolsey is intense. Wolsey does not realize the extent of her relationship with Henry until later on in the chapter.Wolsey already had bad news for the King. Now the he had disrespected Anne this would only enrage Henry further. This chapter basically introduces the Anne versus Wolsey saga.
Chp. 11 Anne meets Princess Mary and soon realizes Mary has heard of her exploits with her father. Although she has tried Mary engage in conversation with Mary, the Princess, wants nothing to do with her. During the investiture ceremony, she runs off with Nan all because she is jealous of Katherine. Later her and George go horse back riding. She get some good news from the King that she no longer has to wait on Katherine
Chp 12 Due to all the rumors running wild about Anne and Henry, they decide it would be best if she return to Hever. This would maybe help some of the rumors to die down about them, hopefully. Once back at Hever, her mother, Elizabeth Boleyn, handed her a copy of the New Testament. The book, banned by the Roman Church, was enlighten to Anne. Her mother goes on to tell Anne about what she feels is her calling by God to bring the light to England and do His work. She tells Anne this was their agenda for her sister Mary, but she failed. The 21st century Anne knew where this was going, but for Anne Boleyn this was another defining moment.

Chapter 19....We find Anne lavishing in her elevated status, thanks to the King of course. As Anne predicted in the previous chapter, the by William Tyndale had been taken. This provides the opportunity for Anne to Make history, later on down the road. She also has the Cardinal in the cross-hairs of her scope ready to plot his demise too. With a little charm and sexual healing the King, with much jubilation, promises to retrieve the book for Ann.
Chp20 The book is retrieved by the King, after reading it, the King is elated. Anne and her father "Pimping" Thomas, deliberate over the Kings response and know that things are about to take and even bigger turn in there favor. These implications would rake havoc in the Roman Catholic Church in England. Anne has got to know the very well now, learning some his strengths and weaknesses. Perhaps her canniness comes full circle when she questions Cardinal Wolsey's commitment to the King. During all this trickery, Dr. Foxe has returned with news that the Poe has give the go head for the annulment.
Chp 21. Anne has fallen sick with what we find at later is the beginning of the sweating sickness. She eventually starts to feel better and that all is well, she thinks. Anne receives a few visitors, eager to form allegiances with her family, now rising in status. When things seems like they are getting better the seating sickness comes back with a vengeance. Anne learns that her dear friend Bess has died. Anne is told that the King has left and taken Katherine with him. She feels betrayed and abandoned by Henry.
Chp 22. Anne is still mourning the loss of her dear friend Bess, when she finds out that her brother has fallen ill with the sweat. She finally receives a letter from the King, but in her disarray Anne does not realize the messenger is sick and receives the letter directly from him. Anne is once again sick, but much worse this time. The chapter ends with Anne falling unconscious.

Chapter 4-8....Chp.4

Hever Castle
Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. In chapter 4 the King makes says his goodbyes to Anne and her family, and then heads to London see if there has been any progress with his annulment. Anne decided to send the King a gift as a token of her love and commitment. Judging buy the size of the castle I do not think it set her father back much. I wish there were some letters from Anne to the King hidden somewhere in the Vatican; considering the fact that they have some to her from the King.
Chp.5 I really felt bad for Thomas Wyatt, but I am sure it is pretty hard to compete with a King; this guy was head over heels for Anne. The poem he wrote about Anne was beautiful. I wonder if his marriage problems had anything to do with Anne. The friendship they had was close and intimate, in a platonic way of course.
Chp.6 George shows up with a letter from Henry intended for Anne. The author of this book sure doe s go in to detail when describing facial features. The King's letter sounds like 16th century game, in my opinion, but whatever works I guess. The rumors are starting to circulate, abut Anne and the King, at the Palace of Beaulieu.
Chp 7. I can see why the King wanted Anne to still service the Queen, but I could not see the Queen wanting to have anything to do with Anne. When Anne's father tried to console her, he sounded more like a pimp consoling his whore, only without the violence. Status and power were the only thing on his mind, in regards to this union. Henry's gifts and promises to annul his marriage swiftly seem to appease Anne somewhat. the heated exchange between Anne and Thomas Howard was the climax for me in this chapter.

Chapters 1-3 Le Temps Viendra: After reading the prologue, I knew that I was going to enjoy reading this book. Even though the book is fiction, considering I prefer non-fiction
books, the characters are real and Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII are two very important people in Tudor History. From the beginning of the you can tell the author, Sarah Morris, is has a deep passion for all things Ann Boleyn. It was kind of hard to wrap my head around the whole time travel thing, but it made for good fiction. One thing is obvious about the King Henry; He switched up women quite often. Mary did not seem to mind Anne's relationship with the King.
Chp. 2 Even though we only have letters from the King to Anne, Sarah Morris does a beautiful job of recreating what must have been a strong attraction in between Anne and the King. The King fueled by lust and Anne for her desire to have a better life and power. The reason for divorcing Katherine, that he came up with while thinking about Anne's breast, did not make sense to me at all. Towards the end of the chapter she gets very deep about what would later happen between Anne's mother and father. That must have been very difficult for them. Life is stranger than fiction, one minute your daughter is the Queen of England, the next she is being beheaded.
Chp. 3 The thing that stood out the most to me most to me was the issue of having a male child for the King. Her mother had every right to be concerned considering how he was about to do Katherine. Then her friend Thomas Wyatt also brought the matter up, while professing his love for Anne at the same time. Henry did not sound so reassuring when Anne asked him about it on the roof.

Chapters 17 and 18.
Do you remember taking a ride with your girlfriend in your first car? I remember it just like it was yesterday. How excited I was to be able to finally take her to the movies, park, or just sit and talk while parked at her parents house. I thought about this after reading chapter 17. Anne and Henry out riding together, without a care in the world, on their way to the picnic at Windsor manor. One thing is for sure though, life is definitely good for a King. The preparation that it took for things like, going on a picnic. The dance that Anne, Nan, and Mary put on was the climax for me, in this chapter. Henry professes how much he loved Anne after this; I very seriously doubt he was this romantic, but it does make for good fiction.
18. Anne is whining because Henry has to put on a charade with Katherine. She must have been terrified that Henry might fall back in love with Katherine, whenever they had to be together. Nan discovers the book by William Tyndale to be in Anne's possession. Although she is already familiar with the book and its implications, she does not know how a great a role Anne will play in bringing it to light. Anne knew that this meeting had to happen. With Nan now in possession of the book, the stage is now set for the next act.

Chapter 16
Anne has definitely become comfortable in her in her role as Queen to be. She knows by now that she has the King wrapped around her finger, or at least that is what she thinks. I doubt very seriously he would have given up his kingdom for her though. Poor Cardinal Wolsey, what a juxtaposition that he is in; he desperately needed to gain favor with Anne, since this would please the King, but inwardly he abhorred her. She is very methodical in her dealings with court factions and politics.

Beloved
Training hard for a gold medal, only to win a bronze.
Would this be my plight in life?
My well had surely ran dry, but then I met her, my Beloved.
You turned my cloudy days into sunny days with your smile.
I thought I had been in love once or twice before I met my Beloved.
Seemed I was just thinking with the wrong head.
When the clay starts to dry and your glory starts to fade.
I will gaze into your eyes think about the first time we met.
My Beloved this was a special day.
