I think tattoos are personal preference and I don't have a problem with them. Expression of love, rebellion and addiction to body art are a few reason that i think people get tattoos. I have a tattoo myself, as  symbol of love for my wife. Before we got married, my wife asked me to get a tattoo to symbolize my love for her. Something like that, but you get my point :). I don't regret it either, in fact, I plan on getting another someday.
